The Austin Babtist Women present “A VERY Pink Christmas” benefiting the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas at The Rusty Spurs, 405 East 7th Street, on December 13, 2009. Including a party with Holiday Carols with Preston King and Murrah Noble @ 7:30p, a super Holiday Show featuring The Austin Babtist Women, Victoria Weston, SheGotta Moustache, and Alix Courtney @ 8:30p and a fabulous after party meet and greet featuring the live vocal talents of Victoria Weston from 10p-11p. You can also pick up a last minute gift at our silent auction 7p-10p.

The Austin Babtist Women will be selling special limited table seating again this year for A Very Pink Christmas. These 6 bar top tables for 4 will offer great access and view of the show. They also come with special table service so you don’t have to fight the crowd to get to the bar. More information about this will be forthcoming.

The Austin Babtist Women are joining forces with the Heart of Texas Bears for Maneuvers benefiting Equality Texas Sunday July 19, 2009 at 6pm. The Rusty Spurs will come alive as the ABW’s are joined by the fabulous Oso-premes, the one and only Miss SheGotta Moustache of Dallas and Austin’s own Dana Woodrow. Don’t forget the monthly Spurs and Fur beer bust and cookout will be going strong on the patio. See you there.

Stonewall 40 Austin

On Sunday June 28, 2009 catch the Widow Modine Murphy and Sister Betty Bea Blessing as they tend bar to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion. Stonewall 40 Austin features the jazz combo Croondaddy, a screening of the movie Stonewall and an after party with DJ Seth Cooper. Ima Spinster will be on hand to help host the festivities. We're Off Off Off…

Yes, we are off, off, off – back on the road again. First stop May 1 for a visit with our Aggie brethren to the East in College Station where our friend DJ Chris Allen will be keeping those toes a tapping till we take the stage at around 11p. Then it’s Dallas on May 2 for a first ever performance for DIFFA’s Utopia afterparty at the fabulous Anatole Hotel. More info at www.diffadallas.org
